Professional Development Training

Every school or school district has at some point made an investment in learning technology that, for one reason or another, just hasn't paid off. Schools are investing in professional development more than ever to train and provide strategies for their most valuable resource — their teachers.

We deliver training programs for teachers and administrators that are designed to meet district objectives and achieve critical success. Also available are product implementation workshops that can be customized to meet district and state curriculum standards. The Don Johnston Professional Services team will assist your school district:

  • Develop highly qualified teachers by increasing knowledge in traditional and alternative research-based literacy and learning strategies

  • Increase teacher retention by building effective learning communities that provide access to research, classroom examples and education innovations

  • Meet NCLB standards and increase student scores by using differentiated instruction and data-driven assessment
