In the year 1665, a disease called plague, swept through the city of London, England. A young man named Jacob Goodrum saw it all. At first, the plague killed only poor people on the edges of the city. Then it struck all over. Soon, Jacob would see people dying at his feet, and no one really knew why. Would the girl that Jacob loved be carried away in a death cart? Would he? This is a story about one of the most horrible diseases that people have ever known.
