Robot Explorers on Mars
Author: Helen Sillett Scientists could not go to Mars themselves, so they sent robots instead. Scientists have many questions about Mars. Is there water on Mars? Was there ever life there? A group called NASA has tried to answer these questions by sending two robots to explore Mars. How can robots tell us what another planet is like? How do people work with robots that are millions of miles away? What happens if a robot breaks down? You will find out the answers to these questions in this book. You will also share in the NASA team’s excitement as the robots give them a close-up look at Mars.
