This universal mount is the best that I've found so far. It isn't perfect, but it does mount onto just about anything, contorts itself into just about any position, and locks into position easily.

 

I can't explain why the NEO helps so much in these types of students; only that it does! The student had a lot to say, but was unable to get it on paper. His sentences were a string of letters across each row, with no ending punctuation or capitalization. His handwriting was difficult to read--even for him! After using the NEO for a semester, not only the quantity of his writing improved, but also the quality. In addition, the letter spacing within and between words became readable (and appropriate); ending punctuation and capitalization were used consistently and appropriately. The student only had access to the NEO for the spring semester. His progress continued during the previous school year and was significant.
