Educators Give Free Webinars Two Thumbs Up!
"Moving Forward with Technology" 2007-2008 Series Announced
August 3, 2007—Volo, IL—
Don Johnston Incorporated and the Center for Implementing Technology (CITEd) have completed their first season of online webinars entitled ”Moving Forward with Technology”.
The goal of the series is to provide practitioners with tools and resources to enhance classroom work and improve outcomes for students with disabilities and learning difficulties. A final analysis of participants’ comments showed the 2006-07 series shared useful and timely information to educators, administrators and information technologists from over 500 schools who learned from industry experts.
Tracy Gray, CITEd Project Director noted, “Our research shows the important role of assistive and learning technologies to enable students to have access to the general curriculum. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to reach so many practitioners through our partnership with Don Johnston.”

CITEd, a technical assistance center funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs, is a cooperative effort of the American Institutes for Research (AIR), the Center for Applied Special Technology (CAST), and the Education Development Center (EDC).
